The assignment
For SINELCO.
After market research it was confirmed that Ultron – a professional electro brand for hairdressers – has an assortment with high quality products but the packaging did not communicate this at all. The customers had a ‘wow’ reaction when seeing the product itself but not when seeing the packaging. The assignment was to highlight the quality of the brand and give it a new fresh, contemporary look and feel that communicated the excellency of the products.
Realisation
Based on the results from the market research it was decided to add some trendy colours to the assortment. For the packaging we chose to go with a photography that really puts the product as a star on the packaging, beautifully shot. A guideline was set up so all categories (hairdryerss, curlers, trimmers, …) would have recognisable look with photography as key item. Next to that we worked with icons to easily explain all the feature in an easy manner.
